About AIMO Open

Since 2012, we have been holding AIMO Open together with worldwide top mathematical institutions. For the past years, AIMO Open has been successfully hosted in different places (2012 Hong Kong, 2013 Taiwan, 2014 Chengdu, China, 2015 Thailand, 2016 Hong Kong, 2017 Malaysia, 2018 Thailand, 2019 Taiwan, 2020-2022 local, 2023 Malaysia, 2024 South Korea, 2025 Tokyo, Japan, 2026 Vietnam). The number of students participating in AIMO Open keeps increasing.

In 2026, there were more than 1200 elites in mathematics from 22 countries/regions joining the final round in Vietnam (Azerbaijan, Brazil, Bulgaria, Cambodia, Canada, China, Ecuador, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Macau, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Vietnam). Here we invite Mathematical education organization form all over the world to join AIMO family and work together to provide students professional training and a level playing field to develop their talents.
